Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information aimagedetector.ai ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and image verification service, and how we use it.

Account information you provide (such as an email address), images you upload for analysis, and basic usage data (such as pages visited and analyses performed) needed to operate and improve the service.

Uploaded images are used only to run the verification check you requested, which may involve sending the image to third-party detection providers. We do not sell your images, and we do not use them to train our own models without your consent.

We do not retain a copy of the original image you upload. For signed-in accounts, we keep a small, blurred, low-resolution preview of each scan (not the original file) for 30 days, after which the preview is automatically deleted.

We also keep a record of each scan — the filename, the verdict and confidence score, and the response from the detection provider — so it can appear in your scan history. How long that record stays available depends on your plan: it is kept for 7 days on Free, 30 days on Starter and 365 days on Pro, and is kept indefinitely on Gold until you delete it.

You can delete any individual scan from your history at any time, and deleting your account removes every scan record along with it. Both are immediate and permanent.

We rely on third-party APIs to perform AI-generation detection. These providers process images solely to return a detection result and are bound by their own data-handling terms.

We use cookies to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics to understand how the service is used so we can improve it.

Google Analytics runs with analytics storage denied by default: it sets no cookies and stores no identifier on your device unless you consent. Our Cookie Policy explains this in more detail.

You can delete your account, and everything stored with it, at any time from your account settings — no request needed. You can also request access to or correction of your personal data by contacting us using the details below.

Enterprise-grade controls, dedicated infrastructure, and compliance work are on our roadmap as the product matures.
